Our dedicated coaches have decades of experience playing cricket at county level and above, and are passionate about passing on their knowledge and skill to others.
Cricket also supports the development of life skills, including self-confidence and being the best possible team player.
We offer group development sessions alongside our regular coaching. We can also offer individual coaching.
Scarborough Cricket Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Jim Love as Head of Recreational Cricket with immediate effect.
Jim has an enviable background in all aspects of the game having played for Yorkshire and England.
As Director of Cricket Scotland Jim took the country to its first World Cup as well as delivering success in various European competitions. As Coach of York CC he delivered success in the National KO and League titles. Latterly Jim was Head of Age Group Development and Academy Assistant Coach at Yorkshire.
All our Club players, senior and junior, can look forward to receiving the benefit of an exceptionally experienced and highly qualified Coach.
For the young people we work with, this can help them build life-long friendships while spending productive time on a hobby that will keep them physically and mentally fit and healthy. Keen to encourage people of all ages, genders and abilities to get involved, our members tell us being part of the club gives them a sense of achievement as their playing ability improves, as well as providing them with an invaluable social outlet, and a welcome foil for the stresses and strains of daily life.
