The Pavilion at Scarborough is a distinctive choice for family celebrations and special occasions:weddings, christenings, birthdays, anniversaries or retirement parties can be celebrated in style. The traditional and charming Pavilion facilities can be tailored to your individual needs, from informality to a more formal fine dining feel.

Choose from rooms in the Pavilion or the Tea Rooms. Or, have the whole Ground to yourself!

The Pavilion is on two floors each with lovely views across the ground, the upper floor has a balcony,  both floors have disabled access via a lift.

There are well stocked bars on both floors, the upper floor has an area suitable for dancing.

The Pavilion Menu offers a full range of food for informal occasions; The Dining menu is great for more formal special celebrations.  Either menu can be adapted to your needs, and indeed the catering and the whole occassion designed to meet all your individual requirements.

The Pavilion Lounge

The Lounge is on the first floor of the Pavilion and has a bar and lounge area overlooking the ground with an adjacent dining area seating fifty people, this area can also be set out as a larger informal venue for a relaxing festive occasion.

For larger groups the whole area can be set out for dining café style for over eighty guests.

Members’ rooms

Situated on the second floor of the Pavilion are a delightful lounge with bar, and an adjacent dining area.

The lounge and bar overlook the Ground and have a balcony. There is a removable dance floor. Adjacent to the informal area is a dining area suitable for over forty people; this can be separated from the lounge by a partition.

For more formal occasions the whole area can be set out for dining, seating over one hundred people.

The George Hirst and The Londesborough Rooms

On the second floor, they are adjacent to the bar area of the Members’ Rooms and provide dining accommodation for up to thirty people, perhaps for an intimate family celebration.

The Tea Rooms

On the other side of the Ground to the Pavilion facing west.

The Tea Rooms provide an unusual and delightful venue for smaller parties, informal light meals, or afternoon teas. There is a relaxing terrace area on which to enjoy a drink in the afternoon and evening sunshine.

From comfort food to classic cuisine – the choice is yours for every party and social occasion. Our Pavilion menu issuitable for most informal occassions and the Dinner Menu for special events and formal celebrations. 

Either menu can be adapted to your tastes - or we will put together menus that are exactly to your needs.
