After recent struggles with the bat for the 2nd XI it was a contrasting game against New Earswick on Saturday as Scarborough posted 174 all out, which set the platform for getting back to winning ways, taking the winning side of the draw which lifted Bob Carver's side from the foot of the table.

Scarborough 2nds slipped to the bottom of the York Senior League Division 3 after a 5 wicket defeat at Sheriff Hutton. James Bruce's 52 was one of few highlights for Bob Carver's side who have now not won a game since their first action of the season at New Earswick.

Scarborough's Under 15's A side have completed the league and cup double, they had wrapped up the title with a game to spare after beating Bridlington at the weekend.
