1st XI: Snell Ton Too Much For Scarborough

Duncan Snell hit 139 from 144 balls as York completed a 119 run victory over Scarborough at North Marine Road on Sunday.

His knock included 15 fours and 4 sixes as Scarborough were unable to dismiss him, and his led York to 331-4 in 52 overs. Oliver Hairs made 70 and Nick Kay 50* to support Snell while there was a wicket apiece for Ash Lyth, Matty Kay, Ant Hunter and Samrat Sharma.

In reply Scarborough managed to reach 212 before being dismissed with captain Andrew Simpson making 56 at the top of the order. He was ably supported by Ashley Lyth who made 60 from 59 balls as the pair put on 103 for the 4th wicket. Danny Evans blasted 38 from 36 with 4 fours and 3 sixes but it wasn't enough as York ran out clear winners.
